Jorge Acevedo

STANTON - Jorge Acevedo, 74 of Stanton, died Mar. 16, 2024. He was born Apr. 23, 1949, to Nicolasa Acedvedo and Jose Ramirez in Durango, Mexico.

He is survived by a daughter Yessenia Acevedo; sisters Candelaria Esquivel, Guadalupe Avalos, Gloria Borguez, and Nena Nevarez; brothers Jesus Avalos and Martin Avalos, as well as many extended family and friends.

A visitation was Mar. 19, at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home from 9 am to 8 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm. Funeral Mass was Mar. 20, at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Stanton.
