Jose Manuel Morales

STANTON - Jose Manuel Morales, 59, died Apr. 4, 2024. He was born June 9, 1964, to Jose Marcial Morales and Gloria Almanza Morales in Coahuila, MX. 

He was a loving son, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed visiting family in Mexico, watching WWE Wrestling, his favorite tv shows Little House on the Prairie and Two and a Half Men, and he was a fan of Texas Tech. Above all his greatest joy in life was being with his grandchildren, whether it be just a visit or watching them play sports, Jose was there for them. 

Left to cherish his memories are his daughters Gloria Vasquez and husband Eliz Vasquez of Odessa and Lucerito Morales and Danny Lozano of Greenwood; son Jose Morales Jr. and Mireya Villa of Stanton; father Jose Marcial Morales of Midland; brother Jesus Morales and wife Norma Morales of Midland; eight grandchildren with another one on the way, as well as many extended family and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his mother Gloria Almanez.

 A visitation was April 9, at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home with a rosary being recited that evening. A graveside service was Apr. 10, at at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Stanton.
