Stanton schools seek major changes with $45.9 million bond proposal

After months of study and long hours of meetings, Stanton school trustees voted Monday to pursue a bond issue to build and renovate new schools. Total of the bond proposal will be $45.9 million with a new high school and major renovations at both the middle school and the elementary school. In May, residents of the Stanton district will join their counterparts in the Grady school district to decide what will be almost $84 million in new Martin County school facilities
