West Texas already seeing fair share of sandstorms

WEST TEXAS - It seems West Texans are taking cover every other day from strong winds whipping tons of dirt into the sky causing breathing difficulties and low visibility on highways. Sandstorms are caused by strong winds that occur in the semi-arid West Texas region. In other parts of the world, such as the deserts of the Southwest U.S. or in Africa or the Middle East, sandstorms can create havoc with man and machine.
