Bank plans new two-story facility with almost 9000 square feet

STANTON - Downtown Stanton will be getting a major facelift soon when First National Bank breaks ground on the long-awaited new bank. Work is expected to begin this year on the new two-story bank that will have almost 9000 square feet of customer service and employee space. David Matthews, the president of FNB, said the bank’s board has been working on plans for the new bank for some time, with Financial Designs, a Dallas firm that designs, renovates and builds banks.
