Javier Flores

ANDREWS - Javier Flores, 51 of Andrews, died May 20, 2016, in Odessa. Services were May 24, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Ogbonna officiating. Interment followed in the Andrews North Cemetery under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home. A Rosary service was May 23 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. He was born on Nov. 29, 1964, in Stanton to Nicolas and Jacinta Camacho Flores. He graduated from Stanton High School in 1983; he also attended Midland College. He married Dora Elena Cazares on July 18, 1992, in Midland. He was a postman for the US Postal Service. He loved to barbeque and play sports with his sons and nephews. He was a diehard fan of the Cowboys and the Spurs. He enjoyed traveling, loved being with his friends and family and also working in his yard. His passion was working on his 1967 Chevy Camaro. He was preceded in death by his mother Jacinta. He is survived by his wife, Dora Flores of Andrews; two sons, Diego Flores and Joel Flores both of Andrews; his father, Nicolas Flores of Stanton; three brothers, Jose and wife Elia Flores of Midland, Freddy Flores and Nico and wife Lisa Flores all of Stanton; two sisters, Lupe Flores and Rosie Hamilton both of Stanton; and one uncle Feliciano and wife Rosemary Camacho of Midland; sister-inlaw, Sylvia Lopez and her husband Frank of Andrews; brother-in-law, Jamie Cazares of Lenorah.
