STANTON - Faye Williams, 72 of Stanton, died July 15, 2016, at her residence. A memorial service was July 18 at Hosanna Church in Stanton. She was born Feb. 18, 1944, to Ceola Rosemond Wells and Clarence Wells in Branchville. She married James Williams in 1962 in Midland. She was a member of Hosanna in Stanton. She had a servants heart, always wanting to serve and minister to others. She volunteered at the nursing home and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing word games. She is survived by her husband James Williams of Stanton; five sons Herbert Moore and wife Phyllis of Big Spring, Curtis Moore and wife Leanor of Round Rock, James Williams, Jr. of Stanton, Darrell Williams and wife Kristy of Lamesa and Darryl Williams of Stanton; two daughters Carol Doughty and husband Sam of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Marcia Jones of Killeen; 27 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; five sisters Selma White of Pensacola, Florida, Carol Coleman of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Shirley Smith and her husband Johnny of Woodbridge, Virginia, Myra Cooper and Verneal Stephenson, both of El Paso; two brothers Joe Wells of El Paso and Ronnie Wells of Lubbock. She was preceded in death by her parents Ceola and William Walker, Clarence and Minnie Wells; one son Randel Williams; one great-grandson Jaylen Williams; two brothers DC Johnson and Gregory Wells.
