STANTON - Funeral Services for Jesus E. Carillo, 77 of Stanton, were Aug. 18, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stanton, with Monsignor Schwertner officiating. A Rosary Vigil was Aug. 16 and 17 at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home and Chapel in Stanton. He was born to Jesus and Merced Carrillo on Aug. 28, 1938, in Delicias Chihuahua, Mexico and died Aug. 15, 2016. He was married for 58 years to Margaret Carrillo from Rocky Ford Colorado. He worked as a farmer for 53 years for Yater Brothers of Martin County. He is preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Merced Carrillo, granddaughter in law Amanda Holguin, granddaughter Jessica Holguin, four great grandsons and a great granddaughter. He is survived by his wife Margaret Gonzales Carrillo; sons Mark Carrillo of Stanton, Carlos Carrillo (Irma) of Odessa and Mario Carrillo (Noemi) of Midland; daughters Cecilia Carrillo (Joe Rodriguez Jr.) and Yolanda Carrillo (Robert Villa) all of Stanton; sister Lydia Carrillo Nunez (Manuel) of Presidio; brothers Gonzalo Carrillo (Joann) of Stanton and Hernacilio Carrillo (Juana) of Presidio; grandchildren Erica Brown (Ryan) of Midland, Mario Erik Carrillo of Austin, SFC Jesus Jimmie Carrillo (Domenica) of Ft. Walton, FL., Jennifer Vasquez (Mark) of Houston, Serina Luera (David) of Houston, Lisa Torres (Roman) of Midland, Joey Holguin of Tennessee, Chris Holguin (Yvette) of Stanton, Kristi Holguin of Houston, HM1 Israel Rosa of San Diego, CA. and Ismael Rosa of Stanton; great grandchildren Jordan, Kathryn and Riley Brown of Midland, Scarlett and Jesus Mikey Carrillo of Ft. Walton FL., Marina Vasquez of Houston, Roman, Matthew and Heaven Torres of Midland, Lil Joey Holguin of San Angelo, Mariah, Jessica, Noah, Christopher and Joseph Holguin of Stanton, Samantha, Marcus, Nicholas, Brianna Carrillo of Midland. Serving as pallbearers were HMI Israel L. Rosa, Ismael I. Rosa, Marcus A. Carrillo, Chris Holguin, Joey Holguin, Erik Carrillo, Roman Torres and SFC Jesus Jimmie Carrillo. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Carrillo and Lisa Ann Torres. Arrangements were under the direction of Stanton Memorial Funeral Home and Chapel.
