MIDLAND - Jerry Warren Webb, 93 of Midland formerly of El Campo, died Oct. 25, 2016 in Midland. Funeral services were Oct. 29, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel in Midland. Burial followed Nov. 1, at Oaklawn Memorial Park in El Campo. He was born Jan. 7, 1923, in Lenorah, to James Castle Webb and Willie Crystal McClane Webb. After graduating from high school he went to Peoria, IL, to watch making school. He moved back to Texas and worked for several different jewelers and also owned his own watch making and repair business. He was a longtime and faithful member of the Masonic Lodge #951 in Stanton where he was initiated in 1947. He married Audrey Clayton on July 16, 1971, and she preceded him in death in 2012. Survivors include his sister-in-law Joanna Webb of Midland; nieces Glenna Mims and husband Jack of Midland, and Jerrie Ann Westmoreland of Pahrump, NV; nephew Jimmy Webb and wife Linette of Sun Rose Beach, TX; numerous great nieces and nephews; stepdaughters, Debbie Smaistrla and husband Mike of El Campo and Gayle Honaker and husband Gary; and numerous grandchildren; special friends Laura Castillo, Fred Jimenez, and Edvardo Aguirre; and Danzel Price. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Audrey Webb, and brother James Webb.
