Stanton man reaches out to help Panhandle wildfire victims

STANTON - After wildfires wiped out a million or more acres across the Texas Panhandle and on into Kansas and Oklahoma, a Stanton man stepped up and started a drive to help out neighbors to the north in six burnedout Texas Panhandle counties.

Kelly Stovall of Stanton, with the help of some friends and his sons Luke and Seth, started with a gooseneck load of fencing materials taken north on Monday.
