QEP’s donation bringing state-of-the-art lab to Grady

LENORAH - If it’s possible, the kids in Grady are only going to get smarter, thanks in a large part to the folks at QEP Resources.

This past week, Grady students celebrated the grand opening of the new “SmartLab” – a science, technology, engineering and math learning experience for students in grades three through eight.

Nicknamed STEM for the four areas of learning at the focus of the new lab, Grady is one of only two schools in the state to have this highly advanced learning system. The other is at Ferris.

“The SmartLab is a state-of-the-art STEM classroom that engages students of all interests and abilities in personalized learning using cutting-edge technology. We are excited to invest in our students through this new classroom environment,” explained Grady Principal Gary Jones.
