CLYDE – A slow offensive, second quarter proved costly for the Stanton Buffaloes as another district game slips away with a 55-49 loss to Clyde.

The first quarter was full of action with both teams running back and forth, scoring points resulting in several ties and lead changes. By the end of the first eight minutes Clyde had a two point advantage, 15-13.

At that point something went south for Stanton as the shots stopped falling and the ball stopped bounding the Buffs way. The worst quarter of the game proved costly as the Bulldogs increased their lead to 30-21.
