Inman finishes fifth at state UIL

AUSTIN - Kayli Inman, a senior at Stanton High School, made the finals at the UIL State Speech Meet in Austin this week. She placed fifth in the final round of Prose Interpretation. She is the daughter of Kelly and Keri Inman. Gabrielle Vanderveen also participated in the UIL state speech meet as a member of the State Speech Honor Crew


. The honor crew is designed for exemplary and outstanding speech students who are not participating in the state meet. Students are nominated by their UIL speech coach, based on academic and competitive excellence in their speech and debate program. Vanderveen, a senior, is the daughter of John and Kristie Vanderveen.
