Wildcats host Meadow for first scrimmage

GRADY – The Grady Wildcats buckled up their chin straps and strapped on the shoulder pads this past week for the first full contact action of the new football season. Grady will officially have 19 players on the rosters on Monday next week.

Grady coach Brent Lucas has been pleased with the team’s practices the past couple days as “everything has been going pretty well . . . every day we’ve gotten better.”

One of the biggest advantages for the Wildcats this season is the number of returning lettermen. The players are familiar and comfortable with the Grady football atmosphere.
