Junior Buffs play Nov. 17 for the crown

STANTON - In just the first year of competition for Stanton youth football members of the Stanton Varsity Junior Buffaloes will be playing for the Division II title of the Permian Basin Youth Football League.

The Varsity Junior Buffaloes consists of fifth and sixth graders - a bunch that has had an outastanding year, especially for the first time to compete against the big boys all over the Permian Basin.

The team has a 6-2 regular season record and defeated the Big Spring Predators and Pecos Eagles to make it to the Championship.

The boys will face the Howard County Broncos in the Championship game which will be played at Grande Stadium in Midland this Saturday, Nov. 17h at 6:30 pm.
