Martin County residents who travel the interstate to Midland and Odessa don’t for a minute have to be told how crazy it is out there amongst all of the trucks and traffic.

In an ongoing effort to make it a little more sane and safe on the interstate, the state’s highway department folks have scheduled two public meetings to discuss some possible solutions to all that craziness.

The two public meetings will discuss proposed improvements on Interstate 20 in both Ector County and Midland County.

The first meeting is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Mar. 25 at the Midland Horseshoe’s Education Building.

The second is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Mar. 26 at Odessa College in the Joe Zant Community Room in the Saulsbury Campus Center.

The meetings are designed to present the proposed improvements along Interstate 20 from FM 1936 in Ector County to just east of Business Interstate 20 in Midland County.
