PAISANO BAPTIST ENCAMPMENT – For more than 100 years, Paisano Baptist Encampment has been deeply rooted in holy ground as the cowboy camp meeting brings together families, friends and churches for worship, fellowship and a refreshing break from the world’s hectic activity at the grounds between Alpine and Marfa. Join old and new timers beginning with Sunday evening supper on July 21 and continuing through Friday lunch July 26.

Preachers include Phil Christopher, Pastor of First Baptist Church in Abilene and Todd Still, Dean of George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University. Duane Brooks, Pastor of Tallowood Baptist Church in Houston will lead the adult Bible study. Jim Cleaveland, West Texas native and retired Minister of Music and Media at First Baptist El Paso, will lead worship with Nancy Russell of Lubbock at the piano and Russell Gunstream of El Paso playing the organ.
