WAGONER, OK - Frances Marie Hodges of Wagoner, Oklahoma was a wonderful mom, grandma, sister and friend to many. She was a woman who was named after her mom that followed her dreams and cherished each day that she had. She will be remembered for her love for the outdoors, fishing, bowling, horses, miniature donkeys, spoiling grandkids and an unwavering dedication and love for her family.

She was the born on May 8, 1951, to JW Holt and Frances Delila (Tilley) Holt in Big Spring.

She graduated from Franklin High School in Louisiana and attended Howard College in Big Spring where she received her nursing degree.

On Sept. 25, 1992, she married her soul mate Thomas Lawrence Hodges II who died on May 18, 2019.

She enjoyed spending time with her family on the lake and spoiling the grandkids with great snacks in the house.

She was preceded in death by her parents, JW and Frances Holt, husband Thomas, one son, Ernest J. Taggart, daughter Holly Hodges and Grandma Alice Holt.

Survivors include her two sons, Thomas Hodges III and his wife Meagan of Big Spring, and JT Taggart of Big Spring; four daughters, Frances Hodges-McKinley and husband Jason Fox of Cortez, Co, Josie Shober of Big Spring, Gloria Padilla and husband John of Wagoner, OK, and Elizabeth Gerdsen and her husband Derick of Rogers, AR. One brother, Michael Holt and his wife Becki of Mt Pleasant, two sisters, Teri Lewis and her husband Allen of Vinita, OK and Mary Bolton and her husband “Bo” of Afton, OK, thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren along with a host of other family members and friends.
