Coaches pleased with workout turnout

MARTIN COUNTY - One week after Texas University Interscholastic League Officials allowed school districts to start holding strength and conditioning workouts, coaching staffs at both Stanton and Grady are reporting record numbers.

“We had 160 kids show up for the first day of workouts,” stated Stanton athletic director and football coach Cody Hogan. “The numbers have dipped a little as the week progressed but we still have really good numbers reporting.”

Grady is also seeing big numbers with 17 kids reporting for the first day.
