Stanton’s decision coming Feb. 24

STANTON - The next school board meeting on Feb. 24 will be make or break day for whether or not trustees put a bond proposal before Stanton school district voters in May. A great deal of headway was made at the board’s regular meeting this past Monday but a couple more ideas, costs and architectural answers are needed before a final decision is made - and Feb. 24 is the day that will happen. A string of special meetings in recent weeks have been called with the goal of deciding whether the district needs to be renovating or building school facilities at both the high school and elementary campuses.
