WILTON MANORS, FL - Jana Gay Wood, 57 of Wilton Manors, FL, died Nov. 5, 2014. A private family memorial service will be in Stanton. She was born July 2, 1957, in Denver City. She graduated from high school at Grady ISD in Lenorah. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Tarzan. She is survived by one son, Jason Doyle; mother, Codie Henson of Stanton; sister, Cindy Wood of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Steve Wood and wife, Nickie, of Canyon; brother, Leslie Wood of Midland; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family suggests that memorials be made to Martin County Senior Citizens, P.O. Box 1233, Stanton, Texas 79782. Dorothy Lee McLaren

LUBBOCK - On Nov. 2, 2014, Dorothy Lee McLaren died with her family at her side. A graveside service was Nov. 5 in The Masonic Cemetery in Del Rio. She was born on April 26, 1927, in Byers to Lonnie and Lennie Mae (Quarles) Hooper. She married the love of her life, William McLaren on Jan. 11, 1946, in Lubbock. In her eyes her family hung the moon; she loved them all deeply. She was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed keeping up with many different teams. She also enjoyed reading, embroidery, puzzles and collecting stamps. Above all she loved the Lord and was a faithful Christian. She enjoyed reading the Bible and had read through it several times. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and four sisters.

Mary Beth Biggs Murray

BASTROP - Mary Beth Biggs Murray, age 66 of Bastrop, died Nov. 4, 2014. She was born to James and Frances Biggs on March 28, 1948. Beth attended Stanton schools before graduating from Mc Murry University. She enjoyed a long career in education and served as the principal at Gateway School in Bastrop. She was passionate about giving children a wonderful start and was a Foster Parent for many years. She also enjoyed traveling and loved to take off to the beach in her RV. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bastrop. She was preceded in death by her infant son Guy Edmund Murray and her father James N. Biggs. She is survived by her daughter Jill Castro and husband Audrey, sons Matt Murray and wife Kelsey, and Darren Murray; grandsons Dalton, Dane and Hudson; mother Frances Morrow Biggs and sisters Kathy Finley and husband Tom, and Leann Herrera and husband Marcus. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends. Memorial Services were Nov.

Johnny Don Booth

BALLINGER - Johnny Don Booth, 76 of Ballinger, died Oct. 27, 2014, in San Angelo. He was born May 25, 1938, to Robert and Freda (Pennington) Booth in Lamesa. After high school, he worked as a barber in Odessa and then worked as an auto body repair instructor at Lubbock Technical School. He later worked as an oilfield welder until his retirement. He married Elizabeth Ann Plumley on March 30, 1986, in Midland. He was a member of New Life Refuge Church. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jonatan Hernandez

MIDLAND - Jonatan Hernandez, 31 of Midland, died Oct. 24, 2014, after an automobile accident. He was born Oct. 21, 1983, in Midland to Maria Hernandez and the late Mauro Hernandez. He was raised and educated in Midland. He was a family man and a very dedicated father. He will be missed greatly by all his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Mauro Hernandez. He is survived by his wife Jessica Hernandez; son John Nathan Hernandez; daughter Alexa Giselle Hernandez all of Stanton; his mother, Maria Hernandez; three sisters, Corina Hernandez, Christina Hernandez and Cecilia Hernandez and her husband Eric Campos all of Midland; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral service was Oct. 27 at Heavenly Gate Chapel. Interment followed at Serenity Memorial Gardens. Funeral service was under the direction of Heavenly Gate Funeral Home and Chapel.

Philip R Morrow

DALLAS - Philip R Morrow, MD, of Dallas, died Oct. 16, 2014, surrounded by his wife, Elizabeth and his loving family. He was born Jan. 28, 1929, the third child and only son of Costa D. and Gladys M. Morrow in Sherman. He graduated from Sherman High School in 1946 where he served as class president, was elected most handsome and was later designated as a distinguished alumnus. He then attended Austin College, graduating in 1950. While at AC, he embraced student life as a founding member and President of The Drakes social fraternity. After graduating from AC Philip began the pursuit of his chosen profession by attending medical school at UT Southwestern in Dallas. Following graduation from UTSW in 1954 he then served proudly in the US Army as Captain in the Army Medical Corp and was stationed at Ft Carson, Colorado. Upon his discharge from the service, he returned to Dallas to begin his residency in general surgery.
