Junior high Wildcats go to 8-1 on the year

GARDEN CITY - The Grady junior high boys participated in the Garden City basketball tournament this past weekend. The Wildcats played three games winning two and losing one to finish in second place.

Grady played Sterling City in the first game of the tournament. A slow start saw Grady down 10 points early in the first quarter. Down 11 points to start the fourth quarter, Grady cut the lead to four, but it was not enough as Sterling City pulled away to win 34-22.

Scorers for Grady: Logan Aaron 2, Austin Arron 7, Chapman Sims 2, Blaise Warren 2, Kody Cates 2, and Colt Carson 7.
