WEST TEXAS - Every gin in the area that plans on ginning cotton and pressing at least one bale this season is officially underway.
Decent weather over the past week has allowed numerous farmers to start or finish their stripping season. But recent rains are expected keep farmers out of the fields for a few days while everything dries out.
