STANTON - A DeSoto “business man” had his stay in Stanton extended following a confrontation with a local home owner while looking for his “employee.”

Felix Nosa Omoruyi, 32, made the trip from DeSoto with a female companion in hopes of setting up several dates in and around Martin County.

The duo utilized the internet and social media sites to advertise her services.

Omoruyi apparently misunderstood the address where he was supposed to pick up his companion following an appointment.

He pulled up to a residence just north of Stanton and walked through the front door without hesitation.

Luckily the homeowner was out walking her dogs when she observed a man enter her residence and then abruptly return to his car and drive off.

Omoruyi would return to the residence a second time, trying to pick up his companion. This time the homeowner’s husband confronted him and a verbal altercation ensued.

After several threats were made, Omoruyi fled the scene without incident and the police were notified.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office received a tip that the individual was at the Stripes Convenience Store and that he and his companion were in the parking lot.

Omoruyi would be arrested on warrants out of Tarrant County and he was subsequently charged with Criminal Trespass of a Habitat and Making a Terroristic Threat.

His companion did not have any warrants and with no proof of prostitution she was released.

Omoruyi has been arrested at least seven other times in the last five years on charges of child neglect, injury

to the elderly and promotion of prostitution.

On October 23, 2017, he was arrested after he allegedly forced a woman to place 280 online advertisements for sex for a fee. He was arrested in a undercover prostitution investigation conducted by the McLennan County Sheriff's Office.

According to the affidavit, investigators made contact with a woman through on online ad in early August, who was arranging to meet sex buyers at a Bellmead motel to engage in sex for a fee.

Investigators met with the woman, who was detained for prostitution charges before detectives received a search warrant for her cellphone, the affidavit states. In her cellphone history, authorities found messages between the woman and Omoruyi.

While reviewing the text messages, investigators observed where Omoruyi is instructing the female to post ads in various areas, as well as to post other females as well. Also during the communication between the two, it was observed where she is transferring money to him and visa versa.

Authorities received an arrest affidavit on a third-degree felony charge of aggravated promotion of prostitution. Omoruyi was arrested and booked into McLennan County Jail before he posted a $7,000 bond and was released.

He is currently being housed at the Dan Saunders Law Enforcement Center.
