STANTON – Stanton’s varsity boys’ basketball team finished third in the Pinky Jones Hooptown Classic over the weekend at Stanton High School.
The Buffs blew past Wink to open the tournament but fell short against Hereford to finish pool play with the second seed.
Against Wink, Stanton opened the game with a 7-1 run and managed to hold tight to an 18-13 halftime lead.
