Fixin’ to Happen
STANTON - WESTEX will be upgrading its TV platform by adding some visual enhancements, features that will make it easier to find favorite programs, and customize viewing experiences.
The scheduled upgrade will occur sometime in early 2020. A notice of the actual date will be sent out closer to the beginning of the upgrade.
The upgrade will happen between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. on the conversion date.
During the day prior to the conversion you may start to see DVR recording loss. As with most upgrades, there will be some inconveniences. Unfortunately, once the upgrade is started, all custom Set Top Box settings, Parental Controls, and DVR Recordings on your set top boxes WILL BE LOST.
Customers are encouraged to take note of the shows you have set to record, as well as any settings you may have customized, so they can be reprogrammed once the upgrade is complete.
Customers are also asked to power cycle all set top boxes at their residence upon the upgrade completion as well.
