Stanton bridge could be closed for months this time

WEST TEXAS - It’s happening all over Texas, but it’s gotten much worse in West Texas where trucking companies have hit a dozen bridges in just over two months, costing taxpayers millions and creating continuous traffic issues all up and down the interstate.

The bridges hit Monday by the same truck brings to four that are closed in a 20 to 25 mile stretch of I-20 in the Permian Basin.

All of them will have to be repaired, with two of them currently being rebuilt for the second time in recent months.

Both the bridge at Crane Avenue in Odessa and the bridge at Loop 250’s end in Midland are going through another round of repairs.
