On Feb. 16, Pioneer Natural Resources delivered a check for almost $8780 to Grady schools. Grady Teacher Jenny Sims and a group of students received the funds to start the Pioneer Natural Resources Guided Reading Library. In January, books were received to begin a reading program designed to improve proficiency through the second grade. This partnership will continue since Pioneer has a goal to complete the project eventually through the sixth grade. Shown are are Pioneer employees Barry Portman, Albert Garza, Kenneth Garza, Johnny Levario, Danny Hernandez and David McCain; Grady students Colt Titsworth,Kaelyn Titsworth, Ciara Greenfield, Draven Schoberg, Matthew Snider, Austin Snider, Noah Garza, Nichole Garza, Delaney Saunders, Dalton Saunders, Hannah Cox, Aaron Cox and Tatum North.
