STANTON – The Stanton high school girls were in action this past week against district opponents Crane and Reagan County.
First up was a tough Crane Lady Birds which took an early 13-5 lead. Stanton battled back to cut the lead to a single field goal but a late second quarter run by Crane pushed its advantage to 25-18 at halftime.
Second half action was all Crane with the Lady Birds eventually…
