Thought it was time for us to read this again, even though we all know the truth in our heart. God put a knowing deep inside us to know we need a Savior. All of my Christian life, I have heard people say,” I am as good or better than the bunch that goes to that church down there.

A loving God would not send me to hell if He doesn’t send them to hell. Well, number one, God does not send anyone to hell. In the beginning of time God set rules or laws. If we abide by those laws, we are blessed. If we do not abide with those laws, then we have to pay the consequences.

Wait; there is always someone that says “We don’t live by the Law anymore but by Grace. Jesus said “No one comes to the Father but by me” That is a law just as much as gravity, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him shall have everlasting Life! That is a legal statement, a law. ”Every individual person chooses for themselves, to go to heaven or to go to hell.

When Adam ate of the forbidden fruit in rebellion of what God said, from that day, it caused all mankind to be born in sin. That is why everyone needs a savior. “ Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned” and on to” For if by one man’s offence many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of one Man, Jesus Christ, abound to many”. [Romans 5: 12 through 15]

So now, only through the price Jesus paid to redeem mankind from what Adam did, can any man believe and be saved. There is no way a person can do enough to earn salvation. No one can be good enough in their own ability to go to heaven. No church membership can save a person. It is only through the Blood that Jesus shed on the Cross can a person be redeemed. “For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God” [Romans 3:23].

“ For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, only by Believing and accepting what Jesus did. It is a gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.[Eph.2:8]

This tells us, after babies through the age of accountability [those too young to believe or understand] – after those, every person is lost until they recognize they are a sinner, accept what Jesus did for them on the cross and ask Jesus to forgive them and come into their heart. “ If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made into salvation. [Romans 10:9-10].

This tells us what we must believe and do to be saved. It also indicates we cannot be secret service Christians. We must tell, confess with our mouth.

I know there are people who confess Jesus as their Savior and yet do not live a very good example of the Christian life. If they are truly born again, they will go to heaven.

Then there are people who keep all the laws of man, they are basically good people and appear to be better than those sloppy Christians, yet because they have not accepted Jesus and what He did for them on the cross, they will not go to Heaven. There is only one other place to go and that is hell. There are many people every day that face eternity without Jesus, My heart breaks at the thought.

That is why I wrote this article. Many people do not know the truth about what eternity brings. I am convinced that those people, if they only knew and understood, they would do something about it. The rich man in the Bible begged God to send someone back to tell his brothers. It didn’t happen because, it is appointed man once to die, then the Judgement. God never intended for man to go to hell.

He created hell for the devil and his demons. The Bible said that hell had to be enlarged, because many men chose to go there. Many really choose hell by default, because they refuse to choose and live for Jesus. “That’s Why, Some Good People go to Hell
