STANTON - While school trustees and administrators are not quite as far along as their counterparts in the north end of Martin County, Stanton’s school board is pushing ahead with discussions on renovating or constructing new school facilities. Next Monday’s school board meeting will touch on the issue again with discussions on what direction the school district might go to either renovate or replace some existing facilities. The new auditorium, science wing and field house at the high school are all state-of-the-art facilities and there is growing sentiment in the community to upgrade classrooms for all grades as well as other facilities.
