LUBBOCK – Over the past two weeks, Grady cross country teams have been running on some tough courses. First was a rough course at the Toe Nail Trail Meet in Christoval. The varsity firls team finished seventh overall.

Over 260 Freshmen and FFA Advisors from 9 school districts converged on Sands High School to participate in the annual El Rancho District Greenhand Day. The freshmen were treated to games, fellowship and pizza. The annual event is organized and presented by the El Rancho District officers.

BIG SPRING - Stanton’s cross country teams made the short trip to Big Spring last week to compete in the Big Spring Cross Country Invitational.

The West Texas 4-H Kick-Off at the Garden City Community Center was a huge success as dozens of kids from surrounding counties showed up and had a blast.

COMFORT - A large group of stock show exhibitors made their way to Comfort last weekend to compete in the 5th Annual MJL5 Goat Showmanship Clinic and Show at the Kendall County Youth Agriculture and Equestrian Center. A total of 128 entrants participated in the clinics and two shows.
