New Welcome to Stanton signs go up ahead of centennial celebration

- After months of discussion and community debate, Stanton's new welcome signs are finally in place.The signs were installed last week by Lone Star Signs. Smaller pieces were put up Wednesday, and the installation was finished Thursday, just in time for Stanton's centennial celebration.

Class Reunions being announced for Old Settlers

The Class of 1988 will meet at the home of Reggie and Kristi Franklin on Friday, July 10th at 7:00pm for dinner, fellowship, and float decorating. They will meet at the Methodist church on Saturday morning to ride in the parade. After that, they will join the festivities at the community center.
