STANTON - Stanton’s sub varsity boys basketball teams beat Merkel last week in district hardwood action.
The freshman boys team beat the Badgers convincingly 38-33.
Andler and Armendarez led Stanton with 11 points a piece.
Rivera scored nine points while Tavarez and Hinojosa tossed in two points each.
Galaviz, Alvizo and Holly finished with one point each.
