CLYDE - Dylan Johnson and Jimmy McDaniel competed at the District Cross-Examination meet last week in Clyde.
Seven teams competed for the district championship from Anson, Clyde, Coahoma, Colorado City, Jim Ned, and Stanton.
Johnson and McDaniel were the best team in the competition and returned home with the gold.
The pair will be competing at the state Cross-X meet on Mar. 16-17 in Austin.
