Stanton wraps up grid iron season with loss to Reagan County

BIG LAKE – Stanton narrowly lost to Reagan County Friday night, 35-26, in District 4-3A Division II action at James H. Bird Memorial Stadium in Big Lake.
Stanton fell to 2-8 overall and 0-5 in district. Reagan County improved to 4-6 and 1-4 in the season finale for both teams.
Reagan County jumped out to an early 21-6 lead with Stanton’s only first quarter points coming via an Evan Cox 29 yard run.
