STANTON - Stanton Independent School District football coaches released the All-District 4-3A DII teams following the conclusion of each team’s 2020 regular season and playoffs.
Idalou won the district championship while Lubbock Roosevelt, Abernathy, and Coahoma were the other three teams to represent the district in the playoffs.
Players from Stanton making a team were 1st Team Defensive End - Ashton Smith;
2nd Team Offensive Line - Ashton Smith;
2nd Team Secondary - Miguel Moreno;
2nd Team Receiver - Hoyt Mims;
2nd Team Punter - Evan Cox;
Honorable Mention - Roberto Perez (DL), Rene Samora (TE), Austin Hewtty (Secondary), Tyler Benedict (DE), and Eddie Wittenbarger (LB). The complete list of all-district selections follow:
