GRADY - The Grady Lady Cats went 2-1 prior to the Thanksgiving break defeating Slaton and Aspermont and losing on Saturday to Vega.
Grady narrowly beat Slaton 41-38.
Lead the team was Raina Short with 22 points.
Sydney Gonzales scored five while Sage McAnally, Delaney Saunders, and Kenley Ivy added four points each and Samantha Griffin had two points.
The Wildcats then crushed Aspermont 47-36.
Short and Gonzales led Grady with double digits totals of 15 and 10 respectively.
Saunders added six followed by Mercedes Jimenez with five, Ivy five, McAnally three, and Griffin three.
Grady lost to Vega over the weekend 49-41.
Short had a game high 29 while Gonzales score eight and Griffin and Ivy tallied two points each.
Next on the schedule for the Lady Cats will be Wink on Friday.
