GRADY – The Grady Lady Cats tasted victory and suffered defeat last week in games against Coahoma and Wink.
Last Tuesday Grady fell to the Bulldogettes 54-33.
Raina Short led Grady in scoring with 13 points. Sydney Gonzales tossed in five points while Samantha Griffin and Delaney Saunders added four points each.
Jessi Everett managed three points and Merceds Jimenez added two and Kenley Ivy pitched in with two.
Grady was back on the winning Friday with a 48-45 overtime victory over Wink.
Short was the top scorer in the Battle of the Wildcats with 18 points.
Saunders and Everett added double digit point totals of 11 and 10 respectively. Ivy and Skye Shock closed out the week with five and four points sequentially.
Next on the schedule is a home game against Hermleigh on Friday at 6:30 p.m. The Lady Cats will travel to Rankin on Saturday with tip-off set for 4 p.m.
