ODESSA - Grady junior Braden Welch placed second at the District Golf Meet on Mar. 29 and Apr. 5. Welch shot a 79 on both days for a two day total of 158. Nick Lara of Garden City finished first with a two day total of 150 (80, 70).
Welch will compete at the Region 1A Regional Golf Tournament at Lake Ridge Country Club in Lubbock on Apr. 19 and 20.
