ABILENE – Stanton’s regional qualifiers, Ashton Smith and Max Lopez, competed at the Region I Class AAA Track and Field Meet at Abilene Christian University on April 23.
Lopez ran the 400 Meter and finished with a 53.05.
Smith placed fifth in the shot put with a personal best heave of 48-02.50.
