STANTON - The Stanton junior high football teams remain undefeated with following wins over Lubbock Roosevelt last Thursday.
The 7th grade won 30-0 and the 8th grade won 20-14. Both groups played very hard and executed at an extremely high level.
For the seventh grade, Jayden Hinojosa scored two touchdowns, Brian Dominguez scored once and also had a two point conversion, Tagen Salgado scored on a blocked punt, Isaac Palomo helped with two two point conversions of his own.
In the eighth grade game, Travis Palomo had two touchdowns rushing and Ladyn Hall had one receiving. Chris Salgado had the Buffs lone two point conversion.
