Seventh grade Buffaloes keep winning, eighth grade has stalled
Stanton’s sidelines erupted after beating Coahoma in district play. Stanton has two games remaining in district and needs just one more win to secure a playoff birth.
STANTON – The Stanton seventh grade picked up two more crushing wins with a 38-8 performance against Coahoma and a 22-14 victory over Idalou.
Against Coahoma, Jayden Hinojosa had three touchdowns while Isaac Palomo and Vayden Pastrana added one touchdown each.
Against Idalou, Hinojosa scored twice and Pastrana scored once. Isaac Palomo added the two point conversions.
