RANKIN – Garden City’s football season came to an abrupt and undesirable end in the Class A Division I bi-district round of the state playoffs with a 70-69 loss to Van Horn at Red Devils Stadium in Rankin.
The four quarters of constant action resembled a tennis match with a constant back and forth between the two teams that saw 14 lead changes.
