KLONDIKE – Grady’s junior high boys’ basketball team ran into a buzz saw Klondike Cougars on Monday.
Klondike’s defense was on another level in the first half holding Grady scoreless.
Once the Wildcat’s found an offensive rhythm it was too late, and Klondike won 33-9.
“A tough night offensively. Looking at positives is the fight from our kids in the second half never let down. We showed toughness in the second half and continued to compete,” said Grady coach Brett Glaze. “It was a learning experience and we will get better from it.”
Kyler Cox led Grady in scoring with four points followed by Cal McMorries with two, Knight Durham two, and Braxton Dillard had one.
