STANTON – All-District football selection for District 4-3A Division II were released last week.
Lubbock Roosevelt’s senior Alex Trevino was named District MVP while Lubbock Roosevelt junior Nate Gensler and Abernathy senior Jess Hoel shared Co-Offensive MVP honors. Defensive MVP went to Lubbock Roosevelt senior JJ Diaz.
The Stanton Buffaloes first team offensive selections were senior quarterback Miguel Moreno, senior offensive lineman Payden Alberts, senior defensive lineman Felipe Escamilla and senior linebacker Eddie Wittenbargar.
Moreno was also named first team defense at secondary.
Second team offensive selections for Stanton were junior running back Ryan Andler, junior offensive lineman Raphel Rivera, and junior punter Cody Hancock.
Making the second team defense were junior lineman Aiden Hinojosa, senior linebacker Cristian Orona, and junior secondary Adrian Scott.
Honorable mentions go to defensive lineman Alex Flores, secondary Hoyt Mims, offensive lineman Jimmy Anderson, and secondary Adam Booth.
