GARDEN CITY – The Bearkats and Lady Bearkats had stellar performances Tuesday night against district foe Midland TLCA.
The Bearkats improved to 3-2 in district play with a 64-43 win.
Leading the Bearkats in scoring were John Lopez with 29 points, Mason Walker 11 points, an Kamdyn Roe with 10 points.
The Lady Bearkats were practically unstoppable in their district victory.
They took a 48-2 halftime lead, and coasted in the second half winning 85-5.
Leading the team was Shelby Braden with 19 points and Bailey Dehlinger added 18.
Brianna Halfmann ended the game with 14 points while Kelsey Gully and Barbara Wittrein scored 10 points each.
Jasmine Jackson and Elissa Colunga rounded out the books with seven points apiece.
