MERKEL - For the second year in a row, the San Angelo TLCA Eagles flew past the Stanton Buffaloes to win the Class AAA Bi-District Championship at Merkel High School on Tuesday.
The first half was a hard fought battle for both teams and Stanton managed to keep the game close trailing 22-16 at halftime.
