COAHOMA - The Stanton Buffaloes 10U all-star baseball team crushed their competition in the Coahoma All-Star Tournament last weekend en route to a perfect 4-0 performance and the title of champions.
Stanton cruised through the first two pool play games earning a top seed for Sunday’s bracket play.
The Buffs won their first bracket opener setting up a Buffalo Showdown with Forsan in the tournament championship.
The first few inning went back and fourth before Stanton’s bats came to life late and building a six point lead.
Forsan had one last chance and made a lot of noise scoring four runs, but still trailed by two when Stanton squeezed the final out.
The 10U All-Stars played a qualifier game in Lamesa on Wednesday and dominated Lamesa 13-1.
