GRADY - In the first game of the NewYear, Grady’s high school basketball teams hosted Jal New Mexico.
The Lady Cats started off slow but used a strong second quarter to pull away from Jal for a 27-15 halftime lead.
The second half was all Grady as the Lady Cats cruised to the 55-29 win.
